Indigo

The group and a mobile.

Indigo

With the leftover donated materials, I made collaged thank you artworks
for those who contributed, or supported the exhibition.

One was given to the Council Art Officer.

Our member Ann Condon, made lovely tissue flowers in blue, to greet visitors
to the centre.

More Indigo Installation

It was a fully coordinated conversion of the art centre into a blue event.

It required diagrams, calculations and reports for the Council Engineer.

We planned and laid out in the Drawing Room.

Frances and I were the promotion team, and it was featured in local press,
and Imprint Magazine.

More pics, notes on following post.

An art installation - Indigo

I designed, and oversaw, an art installation for Wallarobba Arts and
Cultural Centre, to coincide with our art exhibition entitled 'Indigo'.

My intention was to demonstrate that Wallarobba could, and should,
be a fully functioning and vibrant art centre.

I wanted to confront, and address, traditional ways of display and
genres of art.

For the team to construct the work, I had John, Frances, and my
daughter Samantha.

I had donations from all the members of the print group at that time.
