Framing options

I recycle picture frames, and repaint them, or sand and lacquer.

This photo of mine didn't sell, until I repainted it in beachy colours.

It was sold to someone who lived in a coastal area. 

I've used many different frames for these herb artwork prints of mine.
I've sold several.  

I experimented with vintage frames and coloured and patterned borders.  

The camellia picture has a shabby chic frame. This has been sold. 

These 2 are gifts. The top one has had it's damaged frame repainted. 

Leaving the edges white, only the centre strip was reworked. 

As a gift, the back of the picture was substandard. So the taping was redone. 

A frame was added to this timber box with diorama.

Fairy Tales Exhibition

I find myself wanting to push the boundaries with printmaking.

Why do we have to be 2 dimensional? Why does it have to be a
rectangle? Etc.

So I made a diorama of one version of the same print plate.

I collaged the other one, and added watercolour pencil.
